how it works
-
We take in new consignment seasonally. Spring/summer inventory is accepted January-May and fall/winter inventory from July-October. Our online commission split is 50/50, and checks are available upon request. If you live out of town you can still consign with us, though you should be mindful of the fact that the cost of shipping your items to us will be your responsibility, and if you ship something that is not a match for the shop the cost of return shipping will also be yours.
That said, the rest is easy. Let us know what you are wanting to consign, and we’ll ask you questions about condition and fit, offer guidelines about how to prepare your items, and in some cases request that you email us photos first. You can arrange to have your unsold items shipped back to you at the end of the season, or we can donate to a local charity on your behalf. We do not charge our consignors a handling fee, though the cost of return shipping will be billed to your account.
Customer service is important to us, and we like to keep it sweet, so always ask if you have a question or concern. If any of our policies or practices don’t suit you, it is likely that we are not the right shop for you to consign with. We believe communication is the key to a great relationship, and that it only works if it works for everyone. Check out the link below for more information about how to prepare your items for consignment.
We’ve been creating happy consignors and happy customers in our home town of Asheville, North Carolina since 2004, and we look forward to extending our reach in this world wide marketplace. Thanks so much for your interest!
